73: The Variety Show

Step into a joyfully unexpected world where life at 73 is celebrated with glitter, grit, and a whole lot of groove. Margie Fischer’s new work-in-progress cabaret weaves together AC/DC anthems, performing pups, burlesque flair, and the mesmerising shimmy of snake dancing — proving that fabulous doesn’t retire, it re-ignites.

This is a show that laughs in the face of ageism and dances on the edge of tasteful chaos. Expect bold choices, cheeky charm, and moments that will make you gasp — then giggle. It’s queer, it’s cheeky, it’s fiercely alive.

Perfect for anyone who believes the best chapters come after the midpoint. Bring your favourite person, your most dramatic outfit, and your sense of wonder — you’ll need all three.
