Picnic in the Park

Grab your blanket and your best queer vibes — Picnic in the Park is back for Feast Festival 2026, turning Whitmore Square / Iparrityi into a sun-soaked oasis of joy, rhythm, and community. Whether you’re rolling in with your squad, your dog, or solo with a tote bag full of snacks, you’re welcome here.

From 11am to 9pm, the square pulses with live beats from headliners My Cherie and BVT, plus ambient circus workshops that’ll have you giggling under the trees, face painting stations where glitter is mandatory, and market stalls bursting with queer-made goodies you didn’t know you needed. Hungry? Food trucks lined up with global bites and local delights. Thirsty? The bar’s ready with refreshing drinks to match the mood.

Don’t miss the Feast Dog Show — yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds — where paw-some pups strut their stuff for prizes, applause, and maybe a treat or two. This is a fully inclusive, all-ages event: wheelchair accessible, sensory-friendly, and designed for relaxed enjoyment with plenty of seating.

Bring your picnic blanket, your open heart, and your favorite friends. It’s free, it’s festive, and it’s yours to enjoy — no ticket required, just a willingness to vibe, dance, and celebrate under the Adelaide sky.
