Queer Joy Zines

Join us for a hands-on zine-making workshop designed especially for young people aged 12–19. This warm, welcoming space invites you to explore identity, celebrate queer joy, and tell your stories through the art of zine creation. Whether you’re new to zines or already love cutting, pasting, and collaging, you’ll find inspiration and camaraderie in this collaborative session.

Designed for accessibility, the workshop is wheelchair accessible and sensory friendly. All materials are provided, and seating is available for comfort so you can focus on your creative expression. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and your sense of wonder.

This event is proudly presented as part of Feast Festival, Adelaide’s premier LGBTQIA+ arts and celebration event. It’s a chance to connect, create, and celebrate the vibrant diversity of queer youth voices — all in a supportive and joyful environment.

Perfect for fans of storytelling, collage, DIY art, or anyone looking for a relaxed creative afternoon. Snacks and drinks will be available, and you’ll leave with your very own zine to treasure or share with friends.
