Rapid Fire

An evening of queer voices taking center stage — where words spark, stories ignite, and laughter meets vulnerability. This special showcase brings together a vibrant lineup of poets, spoken word artists, and fiction writers, all proudly sharing their truth under the warm glow of the library’s historic architecture.

Designed for those who love the power of a well-told tale, Rapid Fire invites you to sit back, listen deeply, and feel the rhythm of lived experience. Whether you’re a longtime fan of literary performance or discovering it for the first time, this is a night to remember — intimate, inclusive, and authentically queer.

Accessibility is at the heart of this event: the space is wheelchair accessible, sensory-friendly, and fully seated to ensure comfort for all attendees. A content warning is provided for strong language — because sometimes the most honest stories need bold expression.

Perfect for book lovers, creatives, and anyone who believes in the magic of shared stories, Rapid Fire is proudly presented by the Feast Festival — Adelaide’s long-running celebration of LGBTQIA+ arts and culture.
