Red Book Launch
Join us for an intimate evening celebrating the launch of the Red Book — a bold new collection of stories by local LGBTQIA+ writers. Hosted by Feast Festival at Mylk Bar on Flinders Street, this event blends literary artistry with community warmth, offering live readings, a curated dinner, and the chance to take home your own signed copy.
This isn’t your average book launch. Think dim lighting, good company, and powerful voices sharing stories that challenge, heal, and inspire. All readings are delivered with care and intention — be prepared for emotional depth, provocative themes, and moments of quiet triumph.
Content Note: This event includes stories that touch on violence, emotional abuse, domestic violence, misogyny, sexual references, mental health, and strong language. It is recommended for audiences aged 15 and over. Wheelchair accessible. All proceeds from book sales support the Parkestone Foundation’s work in advancing LGBTQIA+ projects across the region.
Registration is required — spots are limited, so secure yours early. No tickets, just your RSVP and an open heart.
