SAMESH at the Sauna

Curious about gay sauna culture? Join the SAMESH team for a warm, welcoming look into the storied 40+ year history of Pulteney 431 — a cornerstone of Adelaide’s LGBTQIA+ community. This isn’t your typical night out — think relaxed conversations, curious minds, and a shared appreciation for queer spaces that have stood the test of time.

Whether you’ve been a regular for decades or this is your first time stepping through the doors, you’ll find this event a safe, inclusive environment to learn, connect, and reflect. Light refreshments will be available — bring your questions, your stories, and your open heart.

Recommended for mature audiences — we’ll keep it real, but respectful. Expect some candid talk and a relaxed vibe — no dress code, no pressure, just good company.

Supported by Feast Festival, Adelaide’s celebrated LGBTQIA+ arts and culture event, as part of their 2026 programming. Don’t just come for the sauna — come for the stories, the legacy, and the community that built it.
