Sapphic “Gal”entines

Celebrate love, connection, and community at Sapphic “Gal”entines — a warm and welcoming gathering designed for queer women, non-binary folks, and anyone who identifies within the sapphic spectrum. Whether you’re flying solo or bringing your favorite person, this is your space to relax, mingle, and enjoy the vibe.

This special evening at When N Where in Adelaide invites you to arrive in your favorite outfit — and wear a color-coded accessory to signal your social intent. It’s a playful, pressure-free way to navigate the night: green for open to chat, yellow for maybe, and red for just here to enjoy the music and snacks.

Sip on curated drinks while enjoying live DJ sets that blend smooth grooves with feel-good beats. Between sets, enjoy a sultry burlesque performance that celebrates body positivity and theatrical flair. Light canapés will be served, so you can nibble while you mingle — no need to worry about going hungry while you’re making new connections.

Ice-breakers are sprinkled throughout the night to help folks spark conversations and find common ground. No awkward silences here — just genuine moments and shared laughter. Whether you’re new to the community or a seasoned local, you’ll find a seat at this table — and maybe even a new friend or two.

Hosted by Two Lips — a beloved local promoter known for creating safe, joyful spaces for queer women and non-binary folks — this event is all about celebrating connection in a setting that feels like home. With 145 followers and an energetic Instagram presence (@twolipsevents), Two Lips brings thoughtful curation and heart to every event they touch.

Admission includes access to all activities and performances. First Nations guests are welcome with free entry — we honour the Kaurna people, the Traditional Custodians of this land, and invite you to learn more about their culture and history during the event.

If your plans change, no worries: refunds are available up to 24 hours before the event. Tickets are priced to be accessible: early bird $30, concession $35, general admission $40, and door tickets $45.

This is more than a night out — it’s a celebration of you, your identity, and your community. Come as you are. Leave with a full heart (and maybe a new contact in your phone).
