The Nest Youth Group: Grand Opening

Welcome to a warm, welcoming space designed just for gender diverse young people aged 11 to 15. The Nest is a new youth group launching under the vibrant umbrella of Feast Festival — Adelaide’s long-standing celebration of LGBTQIA+ arts and culture.

This grand opening is all about connection, creativity, and comfort. Whether you’re looking to meet friends who get it, explore your identity, or just hang in a safe, sensory-friendly space, The Nest is your haven. The community centre is wheelchair accessible, and we’ve thoughtfully designed the environment to be calm and inclusive for everyone.

You’ll be welcomed by our fantastic team of mentors — Alex, Amelia, and Lena — who bring big hearts, creative ideas, and a whole lot of good vibes. They’ll be there to help you settle in, join in games, chat over snacks, or just chill and chat.

There’s no pressure to perform or participate — come as you are, whether you’re shy, curious, outspoken, or just here to vibe. We’ll have quiet corners, art supplies, and plenty of laughs. This is your space to belong.
