The Other L Word

Join us for an inclusive, informative evening designed to empower the LGBTIQA+ community and our allies. Hosted by Pride in Law SA in collaboration with the Law Foundation of South Australia, this special event invites you to learn, connect, and explore how the law touches lives in ways big and small — whether you’re a student, professional, carer, or simply curious.

This is not your typical legal lecture. Think relaxed, engaging, and community-led — a space to ask questions, share experiences, and understand your rights without jargon or judgment. Whether you’ve got a specific legal worry or just want to feel more confident navigating the system, you’re welcome here.

The evening includes short talks from legal experts, live Q&A, and time to mingle with peers and advocates. All ages are welcome — it’s a safe, accessible space with wheelchair access and seating available.

Light refreshments will be served to keep the conversation flowing (and the smiles bright!).
