Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil

Join us for a quiet, respectful gathering as we honour the lives of transgender and gender-diverse people lost to violence and transphobia over the past year. This vigil is held in solidarity and remembrance — a space to pause, reflect, and reaffirm our collective commitment to safety, dignity, and justice for all trans and non-binary people.

This event is hosted by Feast Festival and curated with care to be accessible, inclusive, and sensory-friendly. All are welcome — whether you’re attending for the first time or returning to stand in solidarity with the trans community.

We encourage attendees to arrive a few minutes early to settle in. There will be opportunities to share reflections, light candles, and listen to brief readings and music. Content warnings: discussion of transphobia and violence. Support services will be present on-site and discreetly available.

The vigil is free to attend and welcomes all ages. No tickets are required but RSVP via the link below to help us plan for seating and accessibility needs.

Let’s come together with compassion, presence, and purpose — not just to mourn, but to renew our resolve for a world where every trans person can live freely, safely, and authentically.
