Author Events at Collins Booksellers on Lydiard

Each month, a vibrant mix of local, national, and international authors grace Ballarat with their presence, sharing stories, inspiration, and the creative process behind their published works. Collins Booksellers on Lydiard warmly invites you to settle in with a cuppa and enjoy an evening of literary conversation — the perfect blend of quiet reflection and community connection.

Whether you’re a lifelong bookworm or just dipping your toes into the world of reading, these gatherings are designed to be welcoming and unhurried. No pressure to buy — just come to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and maybe take home a signed copy if the moment strikes you.

These events are free to attend and happen every month — so keep an eye on the website for upcoming authors, themes, and special guest appearances. It’s a lovely way to spark joy in your weekends, meet fellow readers, and discover your next favourite book.
