Fabulosity: Drag, Cabaret & Burlesque Workshop Series

Calling all performers, creatives, and glitter-hungry hearts in Ballarat — Fabulosity is here to help you unleash your inner star.

Hosted at the intimate Piano Bar Ballarat, this two-night workshop series is curated for anyone with a dream of strutting, singing, or shimmying under the spotlight — whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to the stage.

Under the expert guidance of Aunty Banana — a legendary figure with over 30 years in performance development — you’ll dive into the triple threat of character creation, costume crafting, and choreography. Think of it as your backstage incubator for building a stage persona that’s unapologetically you.

Each session runs for three hours and is strictly limited to ensure personalized attention. While these workshops are free, you must book ahead — spaces won’t last long and some material includes adult themes best suited for ages 16+.

And if you’re feeling brave? There’s a shimmering bonus: selected participants will debut their new creations at an upcoming Neuro Bingo night at Piano Bar Ballarat. Aunty Banana’s mentorship doesn’t just end at the workshop — she’s there to help you shine on and off the stage.

Whether you’re looking to explore drag, burlesque, or cabaret, this is your invitation to learn, laugh, and lather yourself in glitter.
