Come To Daddy
Come To Daddy is Brisbane’s vibrant new LGBTQIA+ destination, nestled in the heart of West End on Meanjin land. Opened on May 4th, 2024, this social space welcomes everyone with open arms — whether you’re after a cocktail, a bite to eat, or a night of live entertainment. The bar prides itself on showcasing Australian-made spirits, beers, and wines, with a thoughtfully curated cocktail list that includes classics, creative twists, and signature drinks born from regulars’ requests.
Under the guidance of Head Daddy Billerwell — formerly of John Mills Himself — the bar’s drink program is constantly evolving. You’ll find everything from nostalgic favourites to inventive new creations, all crafted with care and a dash of queer spirit. The kitchen offers a range of pub-style plates, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available for select dishes. Check the Menu page for current offerings, including hearty mains and shareable bites perfect for a night out with friends.
Entertainment is a core part of the Come To Daddy experience. Weekly events include Trivia on Wednesdays, Karaoke on Thursdays, Queer Alternative nights on Fridays, and dazzling Drag shows on Saturdays. Sundays bring gendered parties and community-driven social gatherings — all designed to celebrate diversity and connection. The What’s On calendar keeps you updated with the latest happenings, ensuring there’s always something exciting around the corner.
The venue is open Wednesday to Sunday, making it a perfect spot for midweek winding down or weekend celebrations. Need a space for your next gathering? Come To Daddy welcomes private bookings and group reservations. Simply reach out via the Contact Daddy page, and the team will help tailor the space to your event’s needs — whether it’s a birthday bash, rehearsal dinner, or corporate mixer.
Don’t leave without browsing the merch! Available at the bar are branded t-shirts, tank tops, and even Tom Of Finland-inspired cross-stitch kits. An online shop is coming soon — stay tuned for updates. Whether you’re new to Brisbane or a local looking for your new favourite haunt, Come To Daddy invites you to pull up a stool, say hello, and join the growing community that calls this place home.
