clutch: UPSIZED

Clutch is an emerging night of celebration designed for the Butches, Femmes, Queers, and Gender-nonconforming of Meanjin. After a sold-out recurring fortnightly run since March in West End, Clutch is ready for a night of something bigger and better to bring to the lesbians. CLUTCH: UPSIZED is exactly that – double the performers, double the dj’s and double the amount of dykes… oh and did we mention jelly wrestling?

This is a high-energy, inclusive social celebration featuring a curated lineup of local and guest artists, with music spanning house, drag, and dancefloor-ready beats. Expect vibrant lighting, enthusiastic crowds, and a vibe that feels like home for queer community members across the spectrum.

Bring your favorite glitter, your best dance moves, and a smile — because this night is made for connection, joy, and unapologetic self-expression. Haze and/or smoke effects, loud noises, and confined spaces are part of the experience — so if that’s not your scene, you might want to check out one of our other events.
