Saddle Club

Dust off your boots and join Saddle Club for an afternoon of queer line dancing — no experience required. Whether you’ve never danced a step or you’re a seasoned two-stepper, Saddle Club will teach you everything you need to know to groove under the disco ball.

Feel the beat with live sets from QUIVR DJs, bringing the heat with curated queer dancefloor anthems. Plus, catch a special one-night-only performance from Red Riot — a dynamic collaboration between local icons Red Hill and Bee Bee Riot — serving up gloriously gay country music favourites to round out the end of Melt Festival.

Expect a warm, inclusive afternoon where cowboy hats and glitter meet under colorful lights. This is line dancing reimagined — playful, proud, and perfect for all bodies and skill levels. Come as you are. Bring your friends. Leave with a new step and a smile.

People wearing cowboy hats dance under a sparkling disco ball, colorful lights creating starburst effects across the lively, energetic scene.

People wearing casual and western-style clothing, including cowboy boots, dance energetically indoors. Motion blur and purple lighting emphasize movement and excitement. Only legs and lower bodies are visible.

Presented by Brisbane Powerhouse and Saddle Club.
