The Buttery Queer Open Mic

Bringing community spirit to The Junk Bar, The Buttery Music School hosts two nights of queer-led open mics, followed by sets from some of Brisbane’s favourite queer musicians. Whether you’re a bedroom songwriter, a brand new band, or a seasoned pro testing new material — this is your stage.

In true Melt spirit, expect a warm and inclusive room where every mistake is cheered and every original song is a win. Wednesday’s session is adults only, while Sunday’s is open to all ages.
