What I Did For Love — A Public Archive of Queer Devotion

Come lose yourself in this intimate exhibition, where answers to the question “What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done for love?” are brought together to form a living archive of queer devotion — romantic, platonic, mutual, and unrequited.

From handwritten letters and secret treasures to NSFW videos and messy public confessions, ‘What I Did For Love’ celebrates the beauty, bravery, and naivety of queer affection.

Inspired by the ways queer communities have historically survived through chosen family, mutual aid, and acts of care, you’ll be invited to read, listen, and reminisce on your own acts of queer devotion. Leave rich in the love you gave away for free.

This heartfelt exhibition is presented by Samantha LeClaire — a curator and storyteller invested in queer narratives. Her work invites you to step into the archives of vulnerability and find yourself reflected in shared experiences.
