GCPC Pride Formal 2026 — Celebrate You

Organised by the Gold Coast Pride Collective, this is a night for LGBTQIA+ young people to express themselves, celebrate with their community and arrive looking fabulous — in whatever makes them feel most comfortable.

Whether you’re going all-out in formalwear, showing off your own unique style or wearing something simply because it feels like you, this is your night. There’s no dress code, no rules, and no judgment — just celebration, glitter, and good vibes.

Enjoy four hours of:

• Live DJs spinning dancefloor anthems
• Drag performances that bring the sparkle
• Games, competitions and prizes for everyone
• Free food and non-alcoholic drinks all night

This is a strictly drug- and alcohol-free event, created with safety and joy in mind. We’re putting a fresh spin on the traditional formal — stand-up, dance-party style, where everyone gets to be themselves.

Free registration is available through Eventbrite, and open to school-age students in Queensland, up to 21 years old. LGBTQIA+ students, allies and friends are all welcome. Partners are not subject to the age limit, but please remember this is a youth-focused event.

Help keep the celebration free: members of the public can donate the cost of a ticket to cover event costs. Your donation supports a student’s place — no need to distribute a ticket or nominate anyone.
