One of Melbourne’s most beloved and intentionally relaxed queer social gatherings returns with a special offer for full-time students — free entry with valid ID. Experience the warmth, inclusivity, and body positivity that’s made ADAM a staple of Melbourne’s LGBTQ+ scene for over a decade.

Curated with care by BUFF Events, ADAM is a space where guys can unwind, connect, and enjoy each other’s company — no pressure, no pretence, and absolutely no judgement. The vibe is casual, fun, and centered around good music and even better company.

• Callum Starr — Rooted in the crates and shaped by Naarm’s dance floors, Callum moves between Funk, Disco and House with conviction. His sets honor the queer origins of house music and carry that legacy into every room he plays. He also runs the wildly popular Hey Disco Saloon.

What to Expect

ADAM is all about celebrating connection — whether you’re a longtime regular or stepping in for the first time. The night is built for everyone: from newcomers to seasoned attendees, and all body types and expressions are welcome. Dress code is textile-free (nude) with enclosed shoes required — think comfort meets confidence.

The event is strictly for 18+ attendees and requires government-issued photo ID. Mobile phones must be cloaked — so plan ahead for drinks. Consensual, respectful conduct is mandatory, and staff are on hand to ensure everyone feels safe and included.

Please note: no admissions after 11pm. There’s no internal smoking area. Full cloak is included in the ticket price, though a $5 re-cloak fee applies if you need to access your gear before leaving.

ADAM began over ten years ago with a simple mission: to offer a safe, stigma-free space for queer men to socialise in comfort and connection. While other BUFF events are gender-inclusive, ADAM remains male-only, staying true to its roots and vision.
