ADAM Underwear Friendly Freshmen Edition — Monday 9 November 2026
Welcome to ADAM — the relaxed, body-positive space for queer men in Melbourne, now rolling out its Freshmen Edition with a friendly, inclusive vibe perfect for first-timers. Whether you’re new to the scene or a seasoned regular, you’ll find a warm, judgment-free environment where connection comes first.
Set against the laid-back energy of Sircuit Bar in Fitzroy, this edition invites you to ease in at your own pace — whether that means keeping your underwear on all night, letting them slip off as the beats pull you in, or going fully liberated. It’s all about comfort, consent, and community.
Featuring the soulful, genre-bending sounds of DJ Gay Roberto — a staple of Naarm’s club culture with an international pedigree — the night blends driving house, euphoric grooves, and queer-coded selections for an immersive sonic journey. Gay Roberto’s sets are known for reading the room with precision and bringing in surprises from deep crates and his own edits. Expect lush, layered soundscapes that build energy while keeping the night intimate.
What to Expect
- Attire: Undies, jock straps, speedos, or whatever makes you feel your best. Shoes are required — keep them on for safety and comfort.

- Rules: Consent is mandatory, enthusiastic, and ongoing. Staff are always on hand to help. No photos without permission. Mobile phones must be discreet — think ahead about how you’ll grab a drink.
- Accessibility: If you need accommodations, reach out ahead of time. A Government photo ID is required for entry.
This is more than a party — it’s a tradition. ADAM began in 2015 as a simple idea: a space for queer men to gather without judgment. Eleven years later, it continues to honor that mission — celebrating all body types, identities, and expressions with zero pressure and maximum warmth. The event is proudly supported by Down an’ Dirty and Sircuit.
