All-Queer Live Music Line-Up
Naarm’s finest queer sounds are back and ready to serenade your soul. This is not just a night — it's a vibe, a celebration, a safe space draped in glitter where everyone’s welcome.
Doors open at 5:30pm AEST, but the real magic? That kicks off at 9pm. Think live vocals, killer riffs, spinning decks, and zero pretension. Featuring the brilliant Rita, the enchanting Baby Ouzo, and DJ Girl Whatever — this trio isn’t just performing, they’re curating your night.
Studio Take Care, located in Brunswick, is the heartbeat of this movement — a queer, sex-positive space where love, growth, and wild self-expression are the only rules. Bring your best dance moves, your weirdest outfit, or just your good energy — we’ll handle the rest.
Free entry, but bookings? Absolutely essential. No one wants to be stuck outside while the bass drops inside.
There’s a bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks — hydrate, but also celebrate. Need accessibility info? Unfortunately, the upper level is stairs-only. But hey — we’re fundraising for ramps, so stay tuned.
Getting here? Take the 1 or 6 tram down Lygon Street, or hop off at Nicholson Street (96 tram) — it’s a 950m stroll. Parking? Pitt St has limited spots — try Loyola Avenue instead if you’re driving. And bikes? Lock yours up at the front — we’ve got you covered.
Important notes:
— We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, Traditional Owners of this land.
— Sovereignty has never been ceded. Studio Take Care pays the rent via monthly contributions to paytherent.net.
