Art Express for Teens, Workshop 1

A safe, welcoming space where trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse teens can create, connect, and breathe — no pressure, no judgment, just paintbrushes, clay, and kindness. Facilitated by the warm and insightful Tiger Salmon (they/them), each session invites you to sit down, make something beautiful, and share what’s on your mind — or just enjoy the quiet of being among friends who get it.

Whether you’re drawn to color, line, or form, this workshop meets you wherever you’re at. No experience? Perfect. Just bring your curious self and an open heart. You’ll be greeted with gentle warm-ups, thoughtful prompts like “What fills your cup?” and the freedom to create whatever feels true to you — even if that’s just scribbling while you laugh with someone new.

It’s not about perfection — it’s about permission. Permission to rest, to express, to play, and to be exactly who you are without explanation. And if you’re between 12 and 15, we’ll just need your parent or guardian’s email to send over the consent form — one-and-done for all future TGV workshops. Ages 16–17? No consent needed — just show up ready to vibe.

Think of this as your creative pause button — a moment carved out just for you to decompress, doodle, and connect with others who understand your journey. Because sometimes, the best conversations happen when your hands are covered in paint and your heart feels lighter.
