Art Express for Teens, Workshop 2

This is a warm, welcoming art-making circle designed especially for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary young people aged 12 to 17. Gather around the art table with peers who get it — to paint, draw, sculpt, and connect in a space built entirely on safety, kindness, and trust.

Facilitated by our art therapist Tiger Salmon (they/them), each session begins with a gentle warm-up and thoughtful prompts like “What fills your cup?” or “What does support feel like for you?” Whether you want to create quietly, share stories, or simply laugh together — you’re welcome to show up exactly as you are.

Art Express offers a pause from the pressures of daily life. Sometimes we talk about gender and what it means to be trans, but just as often we simply show up, create, and support one another. Our shared art-making becomes a space for affirmation, connection, and quiet transformation.

Important Note for Ages 12–15: Parent or guardian consent is required. When you register, we’ll email the consent form to them — please ensure it’s returned before the workshop. This is a one-time form that covers you for all future TGV events.

Participants aged 16–17 do not need consent.
