Club DVD Presents: Teaches of Peaches (2024)

An intimate, thought-provoking evening at Theory Bar as Club DVD brings you the Australian premiere screening of Teaches of Peaches — the bold, boundary-pushing documentary that dives into the life and artistry of the iconic electroclash pioneer. Directed by Philipp Fussenegger and Judy Landkammer, this film captures Peaches in all her unapologetic glory, with intimate moments alongside cameos from Leslie Feist and other creative collaborators.

Expect a cozy, social vibe with a curated soundtrack, post-screening chat, and space to reflect on art, identity, and radical self-expression. This is more than a movie night — it’s a celebration of queer legacy, creativity, and the artists who changed the game.

Content note: The film contains nudity and themes around gender and sexuality. Recommended for mature audiences, 18+ only.

Hosted by Dayna, Rory, and Bailee — the trio behind Club DVD — this event blends cinematic storytelling with community connection. Whether you’re a longtime Peaches fan or new to her world, you’re welcome here.

Screening is followed by light conversation — no pressure to perform, just space to share thoughts or enjoy the moment in good company.
