Collage Catch Up October
Let your inner artist bloom at this warm, welcoming social art session designed for everyone — no experience needed, just an open heart and curious hands.
Whether you’re flying solo or bringing a friend, Collage Catch Up offers a cozy space to connect, create, and decompress through the simple joy of collage, doodling, card-making, and junk journaling. Materials are provided so you can dive right in.
The vibe is chill, inclusive, and proudly 18+ — ideal for folks looking to stretch their creativity without pressure. Expect gentle background tunes, ambient lighting, and the occasional laugh — but no loud noise, no performance pressure, and no judgment. This isn’t a gallery opening — it’s your personal creative playground.
Accessibility is central to this gathering. Unassigned Gallery offers ramp access from the front door (78cm wide), accessible seating (non-static chairs, easy to shift around), and a ramp to both the kitchen and backyard. While the bathroom is not wheelchair accessible, there’s a handy accessible public facility just around the corner at Juanita Peaches (12 Edward Street, Brunswick, open 11am–9pm). Masks and hand sanitiser are always available — your comfort matters.
Photos may be taken during the event — if you’d prefer to opt out, let the team know on arrival. Questions? Drop a DM to @collagecatchup on Instagram.
It’s not about being an artist — it’s about showing up, being present, and making something that’s uniquely yours. Bring your quiet, your chatter, your unfinished thoughts — all are welcome.
