Cosy Queer Social (at the Bar)
A warm, welcoming space for LGBT+ folk to connect, craft, and chat over drinks in Moonee Ponds. No pressure, no pretence — just good company and a low-key vibe.
This indoor gathering is hosted in the function room at Holmes Hall, where you can colour in, play board games, or just settle in with a beverage and a conversation. Bring your own non-paint crafting project — pencils, paper, and icebreaker cards are provided for those who need them.
Hosted by Ben, a mental health professional dedicated to creating safe, affirming environments, this event invites you to show up as you are. Whether you’re new to the community or a regular face, you’ll be greeted with care and connection.
Open to all LGBT+ adults (18+), this event encourages respectful, joyful interaction. Food and bar service are available throughout the session. No painting, please — but feel free to bring your own glitter-free crafts.
It’s all about slowing down, meeting kindred spirits, and sharing stories — whether that’s over a board game or a quiet corner with a drink. We’re here to make space, not noise. Just bring your curiosity and your good vibes.
Remember: this is a zero-tolerance zone for harassment or discrimination. Come as you are, and let’s build community, one friendly chat at a time.
