DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre

Whether you're finalising paperwork for a new name, confirming identity documents, or sorting out legal forms with a compassionate touch — the Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre is here to help you navigate life’s official moments with care.

Hosted every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm (excluding public holidays), this inclusive, wheelchair-accessible service is more than just document verification — it’s a community space where LGBTQIA+ people, allies, and anyone needing a safe, respectful environment can connect, consult, and complete paperwork confidently. No fees, no stress, just support.

Our friendly Justice of the Peace volunteers are trained to ensure your documents are signed with accuracy and sensitivity. This service is particularly valuable for those updating legal names, gender markers, or supporting documentation — and we’re here to ensure the process is as seamless as possible.

Located at the heart of St Kilda, the Victorian Pride Centre is not just a venue — it’s a welcoming hub for our community. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick form or making time for a longer consultation, you’ll find a space designed with inclusion at its core. All are welcome — no questions, no judgements, just service with warmth.

Drop in anytime during operating hours. No appointment needed — just bring along the documents you need witnessed or certified. If you’re unsure whether your form requires a JP, feel free to ask — we’ve got you covered.

Our commitment to accessibility means the service is fully wheelchair accessible, with ramps, accessible restrooms, and plenty of space to move comfortably. We also welcome carers, support workers, or friends who wish to accompany you — this is a shared community space, built for everyone.

This initiative is made possible by RVAHJ — dedicated to building safer, more accessible spaces for LGBTQIA+ communities across Victoria. Whether you’re newly transitioning, refreshing your ID, or just need a signature witnessed — you belong here. Come as you are, and leave with what you need. It’s that simple.
