DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre

Accessible, inclusive, and community-focused — the Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at the Victorian Pride Centre offers a safe, welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to have official documents signed and witnessed.

This vital service supports legal, administrative, and personal needs — from tenancy agreements and statutory declarations to affidavits and school forms. Whether you’re new to Australia, navigating transition-related paperwork, or simply need a trusted witness, our trained Justices of the Peace are here to help.

Open every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm (excluding public holidays), this service is free of charge and available to everyone — no appointment needed. All are welcome, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, cultural background, or ability.

Our space is wheelchair accessible and designed with inclusion in mind. We actively encourage participation from LGBTQIA+ communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people of colour, refugees and asylum seekers, multicultural and multifaith groups, and people living with disability. Whether you’re signing for yourself or helping a friend or family member, you’ll find a kind, patient, and respectful environment here.

Got a question? Our friendly volunteers are on hand to guide you. Or if you’re interested in becoming a Justice of the Peace or supporting the program — we’d love to hear from you!

While this event is part of a recurring weekly series, the session on February 13, 2027, will proceed as scheduled — even if it falls on the weekend before or after a public holiday. You’ll always find us here, offering reliable, consistent support.

Let’s make bureaucracy a little less daunting — together.
