DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need a document signed? The Victorian Pride Centre hosts a free, welcoming community service every Saturday (excluding public holidays) where Justices of the Peace are available to assist you. Whether it’s forms for housing, employment, legal matters, or personal documentation — you’re welcome to drop in anytime between 12pm and 4pm. No appointment needed, no pressure, no fees.
This service is designed with inclusion at its heart. The space is wheelchair accessible and prioritises safety, dignity, and respect for all. It’s a judgement-free zone for anyone needing help, whether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community, a supportive ally, or simply someone seeking accessible civic support.
The Justice of the Peace service is part of VPC Presents — a program that brings practical, empowering resources to the community. Organised by RVAHJ, this initiative recognises that sometimes the most impactful support comes in the form of quiet, everyday assistance: helping you navigate bureaucracy, secure housing, or confirm your identity without hassle.
Who’s welcome? Absolutely everyone — especially those who may face extra barriers in accessing mainstream services. Whether you’re lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, queer, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, a person of colour, living with disability, a refugee or asylum seeker, or from multicultural or multifaith backgrounds — you’ll find this space designed for you.
Bring your documents, your questions, and your calm — we’ve got the pens, the patience, and the Pride to help.
