DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre

Need a document signed in a warm, affirming space? The Victorian Pride Centre brings you DSC@VPC — your friendly, accessible Justice of the Peace service designed with our LGBTQIA+ community and allies in mind.

This monthly service runs every Saturday from 12PM to 4PM (excluding public holidays), offering a safe, welcoming environment where you can get forms witnessed, affidavits signed, or statutory declarations notarised — no appointment needed. Whether you’re preparing for travel, managing legal paperwork, or just need a witness, our trained JPs are here to help with care and confidentiality.

Our team understands that navigating legal processes can sometimes feel intimidating — especially if you’re part of a community that doesn’t always feel seen or respected. That’s why DSC@VPC was created: to provide accessible, affirming support right in the heart of Melbourne’s queer community hub.

Everyone is welcome — we proudly serve lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, queer, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people of colour, people living with disability, refugee and asylum seekers, multicultural and multifaith communities. Our space is wheelchair accessible and open to all, regardless of background or identity.

This service is generously supported by RVAHJ (Royal Victorian Association of Justice of the Peace), and is part of our broader commitment to inclusion and community safety at the Victorian Pride Centre. Come as you are — no judgment, no rush, just quiet support and a helping hand when you need it.

Bring your forms, bring your questions, and know you’re in a space that values you.
