DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need a document witnessed or certified? Whether you’re updating your legal name, submitting housing paperwork, or finalising travel documents, our friendly Justice of the Peace volunteers are here to help — no appointment needed.
This service is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and judgement-free. If you’re part of the LGBTIQA+ community, an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, someone from a multicultural or multifaith background, or if you have a disability or are a refugee or asylum seeker — you’re welcome here. Our space is wheelchair-accessible, and our team is trained in cultural safety and trauma-informed practice.
We know that navigating bureaucracy can be stressful, especially when you’re part of communities that are often overlooked or underserved. That’s why we’ve created a calm, supportive environment where you can get the legal help you need — with dignity and care.
Bring your documents, your questions, and your sense of ease. You’ll be greeted by a volunteer Justice of the Peace who will help you through the process, whether it’s signing forms, certifying copies, or witnessing affidavits. There’s no rush — we’ll take the time you need.
This event is part of the Victorian Pride Centre’s ongoing commitment to justice, safety, and accessibility for all.
