DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre

Need an official document witnessed or signed? The Victorian Pride Centre hosts a free, welcoming, and accessible Justice of the Peace service every Saturday (excluding public holidays), and no appointment is ever required. Whether you’re confirming a statutory declaration, certifying copies, or just need a trusted witness — this is your safe, inclusive space to get it done.

Located conveniently within 10km of Melbourne CBD, this is the only non-police, non-court JP signing centre in the area — offering peace of mind and practical support where you need it most.

This service is open to all, with special focus on supporting our LGBTQIA+ communities — including lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, and queer folks — alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people of colour, those living with disability, refugees and asylum seekers, and multicultural and multifaith communities.

Wheelchair accessible and conducted in English, the Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre is designed to be inclusive, dignified, and efficient. Come as you are — no matter your background or identity, you’ll be met with warmth, professionalism, and zero judgment.

Bring your ID and any documents needing certification or witnessing. Volunteers and staff will guide you through the process, making sure everything is completed correctly — so you can walk away feeling confident and supported.
