DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need documents signed? Looking for a welcoming, inclusive space to handle official paperwork? The Victorian Pride Centre has you covered with our Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre — a free, accessible service designed to support our community with essential documentation needs.
Whether you're lodging forms for government services, verifying identity documents, witnessing statutory declarations, or preparing affidavits — our trained and friendly Justices of the Peace are here to help. No appointment necessary, just drop in during opening hours.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to inclusion and accessibility — making bureaucratic processes less intimidating and more approachable for everyone, particularly for community members who may face additional barriers.
What to bring:
- Original documents (no photocopies) that require witnessing or certification
- Valid photo ID for identity verification
- Any forms or instructions you may need to complete
This service is especially helpful for:
- People applying for Centrelink, housing support, or concession cards
- Students needing signed forms for enrolment or scholarships
- Individuals submitting statutory declarations for legal, immigration, or employment purposes
- Anyone needing witness signatures for affidavits, wills, or contracts
Our team understands that navigating paperwork can sometimes feel overwhelming — especially when forms are complex or language barriers exist. That’s why we’ve designed this service to be calm, patient, and person-first. Feel free to ask questions — no detail is too small.
All services are free of charge, and our venue is fully wheelchair accessible. We welcome everybody — allies included — to make use of this trusted service.
Got feedback? We love hearing from you. Your input helps us keep improving this and other initiatives across the centre.
