DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need official documents signed? The Victorian Pride Centre hosts a free community service every Saturday (excluding public holidays) from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, offering convenient, accessible, and affirming document signing by Justices of the Peace.
This is the only non-police and non-court document signing centre within 10km of Melbourne’s CBD — making it a welcoming, safe space for our community to access essential services without barriers.
No appointment is necessary. Just drop in during operating hours, and our friendly Justice of the Peace volunteers will assist you with affidavits, statutory declarations, identity verifications, and other approved documents.
We welcome everyone — including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse, intersex, queer, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people of colour, people living with a disability, refugee and asylum seekers, multicultural and multifaith communities. Everyone deserves access to justice without judgment — and you’ll find that here.
This service is proudly supported by RVAHJ, offering a quiet, respectful, and wheelchair-accessible environment for all to use with confidence.
If you’re unsure whether your document can be signed here, feel free to bring it along — our volunteers will let you know. Whether you’re preparing for travel, studying, applying for housing, or just need a formal document verified, you’re in the right place.
English is the primary language used, and we encourage allies and community members to spread the word — this service exists for you.
