DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre

Need a document witnessed or certified? Whether you’re updating your name, confirming your identity, or handling important paperwork, the Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at the Victorian Pride Centre is here to help — with compassion, care, and zero judgment.

This free community service is open every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm (excluding public holidays), and no appointment is needed. Just pop in during opening hours and you’ll be greeted by friendly, trained JPs ready to assist with a wide range of documents — from statutory declarations and affidavits to passport photos and witness signatures.

At the heart of this initiative is inclusion. The DSC@VPC is designed to be a welcoming, safe space for everyone — especially those who may feel excluded from mainstream services. Whether you identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Gender Diverse, Intersex, Queer, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, People of Colour, People living with a disability, Refugee & Asylum seekers, Multicultural, or Multifaith — you’re not just welcome here, you’re valued.

Accessibility is built in — the venue is wheelchair accessible, and English is the primary language offered. The Victorian Pride Centre team is committed to ensuring every visitor receives respectful, professional, and affirming support.

While this isn’t a party or performance space, it’s an essential pillar of community life — where justice meets care, and bureaucracy meets belonging. Bring your paperwork, your questions, and your full authentic self. There’s no rush, no queue shaming, and no awkward small talk — just a calm, supportive environment where your needs come first.

Need to know more? Reach out to the team directly through info@pridecentre.org.au — or swing by on a Saturday and say hello.
