DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre

Pop in for a warm, no-fuss document signing session at the heart of Melbourne’s LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you’re updating your ID, signing a lease, or submitting an official form, our friendly Justice of the Peace volunteers are here to help — no appointment, no stress, just support.

This is more than bureaucracy — it’s about making sure everyone, especially our most marginalised community members, can access essential legal services with dignity and ease. We welcome LGBTQI+ folks, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, People of Colour, People living with a disability, Refugee & Asylum seekers, Multicultural and Multifaith communities. This service is designed to be inclusive, accessible, and empowering.

Located within the Victorian Pride Centre, DSC@VPC is proudly hosted by RVAHJ, with support from the centre’s inclusive programming team. The space is fully wheelchair accessible, with quiet corners, gender-inclusive facilities, and volunteers trained in cultural safety and trauma-aware support.

Bring your documents, your questions, and your calm — we’ll handle the rest. There’s no cost, no waitlist, and no need to book ahead. Just show up between 12pm and 4pm, and we’ll guide you through the process with kindness and care.

Need a little extra help? Our volunteers can assist with form-filling, translation support (English only), and referrals to additional community services if needed. This is your space — come as you are, leave with your paperwork sorted.

We’re especially proud to offer safe, affirming document support for trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks navigating name changes, gender markers, and legal identity updates. All identities welcome. All forms handled with confidentiality and respect.

Whether you’re here for a statutory declaration, an affidavit, or simply need someone to witness your signature — you’re in the right place. Let’s turn paperwork into progress, one form at a time.
