DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need a document witnessed or certified? The Victorian Pride Centre hosts a welcoming, accessible Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre every Saturday (excluding public holidays) — a vital community service designed for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies.
Whether you’re sorting tenancy agreements, powers of attorney, statutory declarations, or student ID confirmations, our volunteer JPs are here to help with a warm smile and zero judgment. No appointment needed — just drop in during opening hours.
Our space is wheelchair accessible and designed to be a low-stress, inclusive environment. Bring your documents, your questions, and your whole self — we’ll take care of the rest.
This service is offered completely free of charge, supported by the Victorian Pride Centre and the Royal Victorian Association of Honorary Justices (RVAHJ). Whether you’re a long-time community member or new to Melbourne, this is your space too.
“We know navigating official processes can feel daunting — especially if you’ve faced barriers before,” says a JP volunteer. “So we make it easy, respectful, and as simple as a good cuppa.”
If you’re curious about becoming a JP yourself, volunteer info and training links are available on-site. Let’s build a more accessible, compassionate Melbourne — one signed document at a time.
