DSC@VPC — Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre

Looking to get important documents witnessed or certified? We’ve got you covered — and with a whole lot of warmth and safety. The Victorian Pride Centre is proud to host our Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre, a dedicated, free, and accessible service for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.

Whether you need affidavits, statutory declarations, passport photos witnessed, or documents certified — this is your go-to corner for trusted support. No appointment necessary: just pop in during opening hours, and our friendly, trained Justices of the Peace will assist you with your paperwork. No judgment. No rush. Just care — the kind that makes navigating bureaucracy feel a little less daunting.

Our team is here for everybody — especially those who might find traditional services intimidating or inaccessible. We welcome Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Gender Diverse, Intersex, Queer, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, People of Colour, People living with a disability, Refugee & Asylum seekers, Multicultural, and Multifaith communities. Everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and confidentiality.

Accessibility is at the heart of this service. The Victorian Pride Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with ramps, accessible toilets, and spacious, welcoming interiors to ensure comfort for all. We’re also happy to assist with any specific accommodation you may require — just ask our front desk team.

Need language support? We operate in English, and are happy to liaise with interpreters upon request — just let us know ahead of time if you’ll need this support so we can make arrangements.

Whether you're updating your legal name, applying for a visa, or just needing to certify a document for a job or rental agreement — this service is here to help, with kindness and without cost. It’s part of our broader mission to build safe, inclusive spaces where everyone can access the support they need — without barriers.

Bring your documents, your questions, and your spirit — we’ll handle the rest. And if you’re not looking for documentation support today? Swing by for a cuppa, grab some info from our resource library, and say hi to our team. This is your centre — and we’re glad you’re here.
