DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need a document signed? We’ve got you covered — and it’s free. Every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm (excluding public holidays), the Victorian Pride Centre hosts a supportive, accessible Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre designed to make legal formalities feel less intimidating and more community-oriented.
Whether you’re validating forms for housing, healthcare, education, or just need a witness for something important, our trained Justices of the Peace are here to help — no appointment needed. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure space where paperwork doesn’t have to feel like a chore.
This service prioritises accessibility and inclusion. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and attendees from all backgrounds — including LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, People of Colour, people living with disability, refugee and asylum seekers, multicultural and multifaith communities — are welcome. All services are provided in English, and our team is trained to support diverse cultural and linguistic needs.
Organised by RVAHJ in partnership with Victorian Pride Centre, the DSC@VPC is part of a broader commitment to making justice more approachable, especially for communities that often face additional barriers when navigating official systems. Think of it as your friendly neighbourhood legal checkpoint with zero stress and maximum welcome.
There’s no cost, no line-up of forms to fill beforehand — just walk in, take a seat, and let us help. Perfect for anyone needing a quick signature on a statutory declaration, affidavit, or copy certification.
Bring a copy of your ID if you’re signing documents that require verification — but if you’re unsure, don’t worry, our team will walk you through it. We’re here to demystify the process, one signature at a time.
Drop by any Saturday (except public holidays) — whether you’ve got a document in hand or just want to know what’s available. It’s not about bureaucracy; it’s about belonging.
