DSC@VPC – Justice of the Peace Document Signing Centre at Victorian Pride Centre
Need a document witnessed or certified? The Victorian Pride Centre is hosting a friendly, free community service every Saturday from 12pm to 4pm — excluding public holidays — where you can get documents signed by accredited Justices of the Peace. No appointment is needed, and it’s completely free of charge.
This service is designed to support our LGBTQIA+ community and allies, with a special focus on those who may face barriers accessing these services elsewhere. Whether you’re getting forms for Centrelink, applying for a passport, or needing certified copies, you’ll be greeted with warmth, inclusivity, and zero judgment.
The Victorian Pride Centre is a safe, wheelchair-accessible space where everyone — including Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Gender Diverse, Intersex, Queer, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, People of Colour, People living with a disability, Refugee & Asylum seekers, Multicultural, and Multifaith communities — are welcome. All staff and volunteers are trained in cultural safety and inclusion, and the event is conducted in English.
Drop by, bring your documents, and grab a cuppa while you wait. This isn’t just a bureaucratic errand — it’s about community care, dignity, and making sure everyone has access to the systems they need, without stress or shame.
We’re proud to offer this service because sometimes, just having someone say “I’ve got you” matters more than the stamp on the paper.
