Fitzroy Mondays Fortnightly Intermediate Class
Shake off the weekend and step into something a little sharper. Disco Rodeo Boot Scooting’s Intermediate Line Dancing Class lands every other Monday at the historic Fitzroy Victoria Bowling & Sports Club — think polished moves, tighter formations, and just the right amount of ‘I might actually nail this’ confidence.
Designed for dancers who’ve mastered the basics and are ready to graduate from grapevines to more intricate footwork, this class offers two to three new dances every session. Teachers Lu and Paige keep it challenging but doable — you’ll leave with moves you can show off at Fridays, Sundays, or even your next family BBQ (if you’re brave enough).
Why this class? Smaller numbers mean more room to groove, less pressure, and more personal attention. Plus, the bar’s open with bowls-club pricing — and if you’re keen, sign up for a membership to stack those drink discounts.
Perfect for ages 16+ who want to level up without the pressure. No refunds, but resale is easy — just post your ticket if life gets in the way. And if you love the energy (or want to practice at home), head over to their YouTube channel for recordings of past dances.
Got questions? Drop them a DM or say hi in class — they’re all about making sure you feel included (even if you’re filming-shy — just let them know).
