GAY24 Fourth Annual Halloween Special

Get ready for an eerie yet delightful evening of cinematic treats under the spooky glow of Halloween! Hosted at the cozy and intimate STATIC VISION HQ in Brunswick West, this special event brings you a curated double feature perfect for lovers of cult classics and atmospheric storytelling.

We're screening two unforgettable films: 'ROUND THE TWIST: THE BIG BURP' — a wildly quirky Australian gem from 2000 that’s equal parts absurd and charming — and the hauntingly gothic 'DR. JEKYLL & SISTER HYDE' from 1971, a feminist twist on the classic duality tale. Both films are fully subtitled, making them accessible to all audiences.

This is a free event — no tickets required, no hidden fees, no gimmicks. Just good vibes and great cinema. The venue offers comfortable seating and a bar with a selection of drinks, so grab a seat, sip something nice, and settle in for a night of film magic.

Note: While Flippy’s is currently under renovation, rest assured the event will proceed as planned at STATIC VISION HQ. No need to worry — the spooky vibes and cinematic charm will be in full effect.

This event is intended for mature audiences — R18+ applies — so bring your curiosity, your camaraderie, and maybe a cozy sweater. Whether you’re in for the nostalgia, the camp, or just a fun Wednesday night out, you’re sure to leave with a smile (or a shudder… we won’t judge).
