Gender Affirming Personal Styling Workshop

Join Transgender Victoria’s Affirmation Station for a special visit to the City of Monash. This workshop is part of a full day of gender-affirming events designed to support and uplift transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary adults (18+) living, working, studying, or playing in the Monash area and surrounding communities.

This isn’t just about clothes — it’s about discovering your authentic self through styling. Whether you’re curious about makeup basics, want to express yourself through accessories, or are exploring how to build confidence with low-cost, gender-affirming outfits — this workshop is for you.

Facilitated by Ez (they/them) and Jessica (she/her), both Peer Workers with Affirmation Station, this session offers:

• Simple, playful makeup techniques
• Using ribbons, ties, jewellery and other accessories to personalise your look
• Styling tips to enhance your silhouette and embrace colour

The space is designed to be warm, welcoming and inclusive — with fidget toys, hand sanitiser, mask encouragement (and spares if needed), and accessible facilities. There’s no pressure to participate — just come as you are and explore at your own pace.
