Transgender Victoria invites you to an unforgettable evening of connection, solidarity, and trans excellence at the 2026 Gender Revel Gala — themed ‘In Full Bloom’. This is a night to celebrate gender euphoria, community joy, and the resilience of trans, gender diverse, and non-binary folks across Victoria.

Hosted at the Substation in Newport, this elegant gala encourages you to wear whatever brings you joy and gender bliss — whether that’s a sequined gown, a tailored suit, or your favorite flannelette shirt. There’s no dress code but your own heart’s desire.

Enjoy a curated night of live performances by trans, gender diverse, and non-binary artists, followed by the presentation of the annual Trans Visibility Awards. Dance the night away with your chosen family, knowing you’re in a safe, accessible, and affirming space designed with community care at its core.

Access & Safety

The Substation is fully wheelchair accessible, with air purifiers running throughout the evening and a low-sensory Chill Out Space near the entrance. Auslan interpreters will be present for all performances and the awards ceremony. Peer Navigators and trans-friendly security will be available to ensure everyone feels safe and welcomed.

Professional photographers will be onsite — red wristbands will be available for those who prefer not to be photographed.
