Gender Voice Therapy, October
Calling all transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary folks who haven’t yet explored voice with Allie! This warm, welcoming workshop is designed for you — whether you’re just beginning your journey or deepening your connection with your authentic voice.
Allie — a non-binary speech pathologist (or, as they lovingly call themselves, a “professional yapper”) — will guide you through gentle, interactive exercises that help you discover and celebrate your voice. No pressure, no performance, just exploration in a safe, affirming space.
What to expect:
- A foundational understanding of voice and how it can be shaped to align with your gender identity
- Optional, low-pressure exercises to experiment with resonance, pitch, and expression
- Time to ask questions and get personalised suggestions for your next steps
About Allie:
Allie brings two years of clinical experience and passion for gender-affirming voice work. They’re active with GIIV (Gender Identity In Voice) and La Trobe University, and they believe strongly in empowering you to express yourself authentically — and joyfully.
Who is this for?
- Trans, gender diverse, and non-binary individuals 16+ who haven’t attended one of Allie’s workshops before
- Neurodivergent, POC, and folks of all abilities — this is an intentionally inclusive space
