Jaripeo

A compelling hybrid documentary by Efrain Mojica and Rebecca Zweig, this 70-minute film explores queer identity and resilience across borders. Screening in its Australian premiere as part of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Jaripeo is woven alongside two short films: Amos Vogel (Mexico, 2024) and Holding Your Breath (Spain, 2026).

This is a powerful evening of cinematic storytelling — expect emotion, nuance, and unforgettable visuals. Perfect for documentary lovers, global cinema enthusiasts, and anyone seeking stories that celebrate queerness with grace and grit.
