Jim Queen — A Queer Animated Comedy

Get ready for a wild ride through Paris with Jim Queen, the hilarious new animated comedy from directors Marco Nguyen and Nicolas Athanè. When a mysterious virus begins turning gay men straight, our flamboyant influencer protagonist teams up with a cheeky twink to find the cure — and maybe a little romance along the way. This 85-minute gem blends sharp satire with heart, all in glorious English and French.

Presented by the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, this screening is perfect for fans of queer animation, campy comedy, and offbeat storytelling. It’s a reminder that even in the face of absurdity, queer joy always finds a way.
