Laugh Louder Comedy Night with Dave Thornton

Get ready to laugh until your sides ache at LOEV Moorabbin’s Comedy Night, featuring the one and only Dave Thornton. This isn’t just stand-up — it’s storytelling, wit, and warmth rolled into one unforgettable evening.

Dave has spent more than two decades turning everyday absurdities into comedy gold. From sold-out theatres across Australia to international stages in Montreal, New York, Edinburgh, and beyond, his sharp observations and relatable charm make him feel like your funniest friend recounting their week — but with punchlines you’ll be quoting for weeks.

Known for his work on Fox Footy’s AFL quiz show The Beep Test and as a regular on Melbourne’s Fox FM breakfast radio, Dave’s also a seasoned actor — appearing in Upper Middle Bogan and House Husbands. He brings that same charisma and comic timing to the stage.

Doors open at 7 PM. Comedy starts at 7:45 PM. The bar will be open all night — so grab a drink, settle in, and prepare to laugh louder than you have in ages.
