Lesbian Collaging August — Get Crafty, Get Queer
Calling all dykes, sapphics, and glitter-hungry creatives — Unassigned Gallery is hosting a cozy, chill, and utterly *glorious* afternoon of paper, glue, and radical self-expression. No art degree? No problem. Just bring your vibes, your weird scissors, and your willingness to make something that doesn’t look like it came out of Pinterest.
Think of it as a queer art salon where you can collage your heart out, snack on snacks, and maybe even meet your next BFF (or at least your next craft partner). Materials provided — including magazines, stickers, washi tape, and the holy trinity: glue sticks, glue guns, and emotional support glitter.
What to Expect
- Two hours of uninterrupted creative flow (and maybe a little background indie bops)
- Collaging, junk journaling, card-making, and doodling with zero judgment
- No pressure — just vibes. Work alone or share a table, it’s your day
- Photography alert: yes, they’ll be snapping pics (so look cute, or don’t — your call)
Accessibility Notes
Unassigned Gallery is partially wheelchair accessible. Entry is via a 78cm wide door with ramp access. Seating is flexible and not fixed. The nearest wheelchair-accessible public bathroom? Juanita Peaches at 12 Edward Street, Brunswick (open 11am–9pm). Masks and hand sanitiser always available — because health and safety are queer priorities.
