Lesbian Collaging Returns — Art, Friends & Glue Guns Galore
Grab your scissors, glitter, and good vibes — Lesbian Collaging is back for its September session, inviting sapphics to gather for an unhurried, creative afternoon. Think calm chaos: collaging, card-making, junk journaling, and doodling with all materials provided.
Whether you’re a seasoned scrapbooker or this is your first time wielding a glue stick, you’re welcome. Come solo to meet others, or bring your person. Just don’t forget to bring your favorite snack — the only thing we’re not supplying.
What to Expect
- Two hours of hands-on, no-pressure art-making
- Materials provided: magazines, paper, stickers, glue, scissors, pens
- Light background music and friendly chatter (not a silent library)
- Photography permitted — tag @collagecatchup if you snap something gorgeous
- Accessible space with ramps, one-level seating, and hand sanitiser always on hand
Accessibility Notes
Unassigned Gallery is partially wheelchair accessible. Entry is via a ramp and single door (78cm wide). The space is all on one level, with movable seating. The only bathroom is not accessible, but Juanita Peaches (12 Edward Street) is nearby and wheelchair-friendly (open 11am–9pm).
Mask-wearing is optional — we’ve got them available if you want one.
